Embeth tried her best to hold her smile as the man spoke, she sighed softly when he was finished then waved her hand. " Well, Kelador. I have told you what you wanted to know, you are free to stay here in the castle for as long as you wish. None will bother you.." She bowed her head and curtsied ever so slightly. " I have other things to attend to, so if you don't mind, I will be leaving.. unless you have other questions..."

He had a question to ask, but he debated whether or not he should ask the question. He stated already Breena was not his concern, but he wanted to know, he had to know why she dismissed him so readily. That night she needed him close, then the morning, she wanted him gone.
He would ask, he didn't get the answer from her, but maybe this look a like would give him an answer. "why....did she dismiss me so easily like that? She wanted, needed my protection, then she got rid of me when had it...was I used? Or is there something i'm missing?

Embeth tried her best to mask the annoyance she began to experience with the man, she fully understood as to why Breena had fled the way she did. It was the only way she *could* escape his grasp.. " Breena is complex... and though I know her reasoning, it is not for me to explain that to you.. She will return... it is up to you whether you are around for her to speak with. " She swiveled her tongue around behind her lips, tapping her finger to the pale, pouting lips. " Kelador.. I will say that she did not use you. She paused, her brow creasing, and her frown deepend. Embeth clasped her hands before her as she spoke again. " She is terrified of her Homeland... She is terrified that she may have to face her demons, and perhaps meet the ones who had a part in making her.. She fears, and loathes it.. If by some chance my Father, my Mother fall into the Taker's hands... By all birthrights, she is the Queen.
It doesn't take one very long to comprehend that Breena loathes this sort of setting..."
Embeth clenched her fist around the skirt of her dress, she decided to say one more thing before attending to her duties. " Breena knew how terrified you were. Perhaps she is as paranoid as you are.. She didn't want you to have to face people either. She fled the way she did in an attempt to leave quietly, so none knew she was here, aside from my guards... Yes, you foiled her plan sourly... and exposed yourself. Please, don't think harshly of my sister..."

Kelador moved to a chair and slowly sat upon the it, while letting out a long sigh "your guards are poorly organized and your defenses don't take into account a number of things. Even with you letting me in, I can tell you need a massive overhaul of your defense....otherwise, more like me could enter."
Kelador looked out the window, he was lost, and did not know what to do. Maybe he could find work with these people, help them somewhat, find a purpose till he had to move on once again. What else was he to do? It would be good to find some rest before he moved on. Though history speaks otherwise, he find a home here.

Embeth's smile remained soft, and though Kelador insulted her Kingdom, her expression remained pleasant. " There aren't many like you, Kelador.." She paused, rubbing her fingers against the fabric of her dress. " A massive overhaul? I invite you into my home, and all you can do is insult it?" Embeth's voice remained liquid soft, though annoyance ran through her, she did not express it in her posture, tone, or face. " I anticipated your arrival.. " Embeth bit her tongue, she could not disclose what information she knew, it would change the future.. She could see in dribs and drabs what would come to pass if she told him.
Breena wondered how long they had been riding since their previous break. It seemed like eons since her bottom had a rest. Even the plush seat to her saddle was no longer comforting to her, her legs were exhausted, ... her entire form was exhasted! She could only imagine how her brothers felt.. She dared to look over her shoulder, her lips turned upright into a satisfied smirk. They too were exhausted..or beyond exhaustion. They were all hunched over their horses necks, gripping onto the mane for support, lest they should fall.
" Almost there..." Her voice hoarse with lack of use, and lack of water. She could feel the difference in the air, it was a great deal cooler than being in the Southern city.. She could feel the cool tendrils of the wind whip across her face, almost staining her pale complexion crimson. She could smell the salty air, and taste it too. They were nearly at the port..

"I'm offering to whip them into shape. Yes there aren't many like me...but that doesn't mean they aren't out there. It was not an insult, as it was an observation. Do you want my help or not?"
He realized he was awfully demanding, but then again, he knew he could do it, he could improve the castle's guard.

Embeth brought her hand up toward her head, she placed two fingers to her temple, praying to her goddess to grant her more patience, and strength. " Do as you wish, but remember -- they are still under the command and guidance of the Royal Family... Including myself and Breena.." She smiled sweetly then turned away from him yet again. " I will have the servants show you to your quarters, they have already been prepared. You may aquaint yourself with your guard, or perhaps your surroundings if that is to your liking.. I must be on my way.." She curtsied and left the room.
The sound of water made Breena's mouth feel all the more dry. Cotton mouth was an understatement, and her stomach churned with hunger pains. At this point her muscles were dead, they were in capable of supporting her frame, and she dared not to dismount her horse.
" Last call for boarders! " A man's twangy voice called out, it awakened Bree only slightly. Panicked, she urged Tor onward, the poor creature nearly stumbling with exhaustion himself. " Hold! HOLD! I say, damnit.. " Bree cursed loudly at the fool and threw him a pouch of coins, it was more than enough, and then some more. She was far too tired to sort through the amount.. The man was bitter at first, but as he caught the pouch and weighed out the size and firth of the pouch he chuckled softly, waving all aboard the giant vessel of a ship.

Kelador got up slowly, he walked out of the room, and spotted a guard waiting for him. He followed the guard silently to his quarters. Rather lavish room, huge bed, and wide open window. He close the door behind him, and sat on the bed.
He wondered where she was sleeping if she was comfortable, or even safe. He put those thoughts out of his mind, but found he'd drift to them back and forth. He'd been here only for a couple of days and look where he is now. This land was an interesting one, and he could tell dangerous if he wasn't paying attention.
He removed his duster, shirt and set aside his sword and looked out the window at the moon the stars. How long would he stay here for? a day, a week...a month!? Maybe longer, he would see what this castle held for him, if anything. He laid back upon the bed, he stayed off this part of the night as much as he could. Sleep was never something he looked forward too. It was always torture, but he could not delay it any longer. Again he heard a laugh, Kelador then sighed. Perhaps tonight would be different...like that night with her. He tried to believe that lie, but he knew better...so did the creature. Again Kelador was taken to that word of nightmares, and horrid visions, until he'd wake

Leila peered out over the land of Alyanys. She could see the majority of her territory from the balcony she was perched upon. A sigh slipped from her lips as she thought of Breena, she wondered the same as Kelador, was she safe, comfortable, and moreso.. was she lonely? A frown pulled her lips downward as she thought of the figure that had became her Mother over the years.
Suddenly a firm, but gentle grasp landed upon the sides of her shoulders, she relaxed instantly, groaning. " I know.." The deep, coaxing, gentle voice whispered. " She is well though, you know just as I do.. She is well.." The Angel spun Leila around to face him, his pale, but warm complexion reflecting the sun. His cerulean eyes, a constant reminder of her Mother.. She wanted to weep. " She is alone though... " Leila whispered, throwing herself into Micah's embrace. Micah leaned his head atop of Leila's, brushing down her wild, red locks. " Your cousin's are with her... Don't fret.." He began, but was silenced with the most pitiful of eyes.. He groaned, and closed his eyes. " I know. I know.."
Breena was at least safe, but in no means was she comfortable. She sat nestled betwixt her brothers as the ship sailed toward the Isle of Fire, also known as Alyanys. Sleep called to her, and she answered it every so often, nodding off to sleep, but the sea was stormy, and it often threw the ship from wave to wave, causing the passengers to be hurled from their beds, or seats. The sea began to calm as they drew closer to the Isle... and Breena was able to fall into a deep sleep, for what seemed like hours. She dreamt of a time of peace and happiness, her mind playing beautiful images across her eyes. She saw a small child, giggling. Overwhelmed was she by her happiness, she began to cry. The exotic little one lifted it's hands upward, smiling up with adoration.. Bree fought tears back..... suddenly the dream shifted, darkness surrounded her. She growled with anticipation, something was coming. Someone was coming... A stinging pain overwhelmed her head, she touched the back of her skull, and brought her hand to examine it.. Blood stained her pale hand. She clenched her fist, unsheathing her sword just in time to block a sword. Several men surrounded her, she was greatly out numbered. She fought in a blurr, but exhaustion still robbed her of the strength she so needed. She fought desperately, her predators exhausting her, until one impaled her with his sword. The pain, so real... so vivid, woke Breena with a shriek.

In a abandoned camp ground 4 men on horses covered in white cloaks and hoods look upon the ground. Beside it a lake, recently disturbed by dark forces.
One man speaks "he was here....there were others. We are close"
The mean shifted their swords upon their backs. The hilt matching identically the Kelador's. Another hooded man spoke "Has he discovered allies possibly?"
A fifth man appears out of the tree line, his white cloak trimmed with gold. "If he does they will turn on him like the rest. Word will travel here soon enough about what he...what it had done. He will not elude us this time. This time we will take what is ours".
The 5 begin to make haste in a direction of various foot and hoof prints left upon the ground, following it to a city

Fallon tried to soothe his sister, but it was of no use. She was trembling and unresponsive, at least to him. She wouldn't speak to him, nor explain the tremors, she just sat quiet and staring ahead.
Breena did not sleep the rest of the journey, she was unable to, even though her body ached for rest it needed. She was frightened to sleep, and she idly wondered if this is the sort of torment Kelador went through nightly. She rubbed her temples and forced the thoughts of that man into a locked cupboard in her mind. She was not to think of him, not for the entirety of this journey. She felt her emotions balling up inside of her, spiraling away.
Embeth lay awake in bed, weeping into her cupped hands. She felt so helpless, as per usual. She could see into the future, and perhaps remedy pain, but this was not a pain she could remedy.. The young woman brushed away her tears as she thought of her sister, and how loney she was. She could feel Breena's pain searing over her, it caused physical grief to Embeth, she wondered how much this woman could truly endure. She could feel, see, and endured all of the tragedy this poor woman had endured, and what she was currently enduring. How much more could she take, until she completely lost her humanity? How much more of herself could she lock away...

Kelador stared outside his window, hearing the cries of the one known as embeth, he could hear a lot of things. He kept whatever powers he had to track on her, he did not trust the light. Too many bad experiences.
He quickly got his things ready went to the guard outside his door, asking him to take Kel to Embeth, he would begin his task today, to take his minds off things. He was not sure where to go or what to do.
For now he had a task to complete and that would give him time to make a decision.
Then he felt it, a familar presence in the land, a familiar....light. They had entered the city. "...no....how....?" He had to speak to Embeth quickly now. He had to flee, he had to run. They must not know he was here.

Embeth wiped the tears from her eyes as she stood to her feet. Frowning, she dressed herself quickly, without the aide of her maids. She was restless, and could not wait to be tended to. Sleep had evaded the young woman all night, and the proof lay under her eyes in the form of dark circles. Her pale complexion looked generally worn. She had far too many nightmares..far too many visions... " It's early.." Murmuring to herself she cocked her head to the side, her green eyes fixating upon her chambers' doors. Just then a knock came a rapping upon the door, it was her hand maid. She announced that Kel was awake, which she had already known, and the maid apologized for waking her mistress.
Embeth smiled and sent the woman on her way, then stepped from her quarters and awaited for the strange man to arrive.
Breena staggered off of the ship, her knees almost buckling from sea sickness and exhaustion. She felt Fallon's arms scoop her up into his embrace, and she could not fight him. Bree fought to stay awake, her eyes rolling into the back of her head as he carried her along. Finn managed to grab Tor and lead him down the ramp, all the while the horse tried to pull toward his mistress. His nostrils flaring as he drew in her scent, worry swirled in his mind. He wondered what happened to her on the journey...

Embeth wiped a fresh lot of tears from her cheeks, her eyes somehow finding a way to smile, though her lips made no move to do so. " Good morning, Kelador. It is safe, however why don't we go to my study..." She then forced a smile to her face, as she stepped from the room into the hallway. Embeth noticed how large he was compared to she, and for a split moment she felt chills pass over her. " I hope you are well rested..."
Breena clasped her arms around her brothers neck, nuzzling against his broad, firm chest. She sought his warmth, her eyes wrenching shut every time she went to open them.
" Grab a cabbie..." Fallon murmured softly. " She is not well enough to ride, and she's nearly spoiled her mount for the next duration of this trek.."

"no...but that's common...." he could only remember one night he ever was well rested, with her, but that was no longer and option any more.
He began to walk with Embeth "this won't take long, I cannot stay here" he handed her some folder pieces of paper "take these, they are some improvements I recommend you make to your guard, and wards you might find useful." Kel wish he knew how he gained this knowledge, but did not and it frustrated him, but the knowledge was still useful, and was glad he could at least recall practical information from his shattered memories.
He suddenly stopped "if men in white cloaks arrive...give them whatever information they want, and send them on their way. If you can pass off that i was not here to begin with, so much the better. But do not if you can avoid it, engage these people. They're not easy to deal with, and won't think twice to bringing your castle, hell this city to ruins."

Embeth escorted Kelador into her study, closing the door behind him as he entered the cozy room. The walls of the room were draped with crimson fabrics, and trimmed with a golden ivory, there was a large hearth in the middle of the room, big enough to warm the entire room and then some.
The woman's fingers clenched the paper in her grasp, her eyes studying it before she began to unfold and read the contents within. A brow arose in question as she peered over at him. " We would protect you until the end, if that is what it came down to... " Embeth folded the paper and slipped it into her corsette, stashing it for later. " You are an aquaintance of Breena, and you are to be protected at all costs... " She pursed her lip and waved a hand toward him, her lips drawing downward in a frown. " If you must leave then do so. "

"...no, no more deaths because of me. These people will stop at nothing to get me. They will kill every man, woman and child to find me. I have something of theirs they want...I wish I knew, but I do not know what it is. Never stood around long enough to ask what it was."
He turned walked toward the door "thank you for your hospitality...I appreciate it..." he opened the door and took a step "please again...if you cannot fool them that I was here...give them all the info they ask, do not resist..."

Embeth remained quiet for the rest of the private meeting with Kelador. She mused to herself on what she should do; Listen to him and duck our heads beneath the sand, or stand and fight? Surely she could persuade her parents to take a stand..
The next thing Breena remembered was the way her body was being jostled betwixt a plush cushion and a warm body... A warm body? Her thoughts went swimming through her head, then her eyes popped wide open; her body jumping to awareness. " Where are we? " She spoke finally; her voice crackling with lack of use. The woman shied away from her brother as he went to soothe her, he chuckled and flicked his fingers across the greying whiskers on his chin.
" Ah, glad to see my Breena is back, aye.. We're on the Queen's highway in Alyanys. " He replied coolly, his grey-blue eyes glancing out of the cabbie. The sun was just beginning to rise, setting the horizon on fire, and all the land that it's strong rays had graced.
Confused, Breena's brows knit together, she wiped her damp hair from her face and sighed. How long had she already been unconscious for? She guessed perhaps two or three hours.

The 5 follow the path leading to the kingdom. Up ahead they see a group of people, 3 men and a woman. A man in the middle of the 5, obviously a sense of leadership about him, moves up a bit. He whispers to his compatriots "i sense darkness among those people up ahead...I cannot be sure if they have crossed paths with...him, but..." he points to the two on his left and gestures to the them to move ahead
The two move up and call to the group "excuse me! you there...please halt, we wish to ask you something!"
The two maneauver around the group to stop ahead, to halt them from going any further.
