Breena bridled her horse, and slid the saddle onto his back, only tightening his girth ever so slightly. She muttered to herself and slid her belongings into the pack on Tor's back, her eyes remained focus on him, even as the beast uttered his last words. Bree scoffed as she ran her scarred hand along the horses broad neck, her mouth twisted as she studied his muscle, versus the muscle the man had.. Tor out weighed him, ratio to ratio, she chuckled softly. " Oh, do you envy his parts now.. Pity, you sink as low as to insult a mere woman.. and you envy her horse as well as his manhood.. " She waved her hand up in the air and began to walk away from him, her form becoming shadowed by the trees. " Take care, Beastie boy.. " She laughed, not quite aware how true her words were. She knew he was strange, different, but had no clue of what he truly was, or was capable of.

The man suddenly stopped in his tracks, again she accused him of being the monster that brought him here, he grit his teeth, his eyes suddenly going black as the shadow she moved into. He growled, a growl that could be mistaken to come from some animal.
He suddenly leaped into a nearby shadow of a tree, then emerging from seemingly out of no where before the woman her horse, his sword unsheathed, pointed at her, his eyes still pitch black.
"DO NOT ASSOCIATE ME WITH THAT MONSTER! I AM NOTHING LIKE IT!" His teeth bear, his face in an expression of rage. In the distance was an echo of laughter, so feint, sounds of crickets mostly masked it, seemingly coming from the shadows behind the man, but nothing was there save insects and other various forest life.

Breena paused mid-stride as she nearly walked into the tip of a blade, her eyes darted toward her horse, who was rigid, and ready to throttle the man before them into the ground. She couldn't say she blamed him entirely, she chuckled though, despite the current matter at hand.
" Then I suggest you stop acting like a monster.." She narrowed her eyes, her hand by her side cautioning her brothers to stay behind. " Prove to me you are otherwise, and perhaps I would treat you better than the dirt I trod on.." Breena's face remained calm for the most part, the only hint of emotion that appeared was fury, or frustration.
The woman took a step forward, the blade centimeteres away from piercing her throat. Suddenly the hair upon the back of her neck raised, and goosebumps appeared upon her flesh, she held in a shudder. Feidhelm hissed in the back of her mind, calling to her, warning her.
" I am no coward, but I spared your life once.. take my... kindness... and leave. " Bree grit her teeth at the word 'kindness', her eyes focused on the threat before them. Muscles tensed as she surpressed the urge to unleash her sword's madness.

The suddenly whipped his sword to the side, tossing, and embedding into a nearby tree, the force, causing the tree to bend back a little at the impact.
The man shut his eyes, tightly, then opened them once more, revealing his normal brown eyes once again, his face still filled with rage.
speaking with clenched fists "you think i'm afraid of you and your friends...believe me when i say that you pose as much threat to me as the squirrel in the tree behind you and the fox hiding in the bush to hour right" both these places are covered in shadows, but sudden rustling of the plant life from both areas somewhat confirm the man's claims

Breena's jaw clenched tightly as the threat's sword embedded itself within the tree. She kept her cold gaze upon him, her muscles shuddering in anticipation. The change within his eyes did not go unnoticed, her eyes drank in every detail of his form, every hair, every scar, she growled softly as he began to speak. " If you were afraid of a mere woman, I'd call you pathetic. Have I posed a threat to you? No! You're quite paranoid..." Bree finally chuckled, sidestepping away from the man. " You are free to leave, and yet you keep blocking my way. Who is the threat now? I have not yet made a threat against you.."
Breena ignored the caution and walked up beside the man, her right shoulder nearly brushing up against his left, her nose inches away from his face. Hardly surprised by the man's claims, and the confirmation of them, she shrugged her shoulders. Having keen ears she could have made those claims as well.

His armored hand moved swiftly, more so that naturally possible with that much armor on his arm, grasping her throat, rather gently, the steel of his armor cold, like the night itself. He does not squeeze, but simply just holding.
"I will say this again...do not compare me that which you saw....because if really want..." he turns his head toward her, staring her straight in the eyes, his voice lowering into a whisper "I can show how different I am to that....thing!"

The woman barely flinched as his hand wrapped itself around her throat, and oddly enough she chuckled, her eyes rolling and glancing off to the side. She heard the Donovan's take a step forward, and again she waved them off. Breena sighed softly, the instability of the man was proving to be more trying on her patience than what she had anticipated, and she wasn't sure how much more the brothers could endure without involving themselves in the matter.
The woman eyed the man, as if he were losing his mind, her lips pulled back over her teeth, exposing her pearly whites. " Are you daft? or are you just mad? I am *not* comparing you to anything... I'm not even sure what I saw, or didn't see. " She grumbled, fighting the urge to knock his arm away, but instead she remained calm. Breena truly didn't see anything more than a shadow falling from the sky, and light blaring from the man, it was odd enough for her to see, but she wasn't sure of what she saw.
As he dipped his head near her eyes, she glared at him, mostly to hide her disgust in the present time. She had no response to that, she looked away from him, and placed her hands on her hips, as if she were bored.

The man let go of her throat, then taking a few steps back. He looked his armored hand. Then he quickly shut his eyes tightly, a look of strain on his face, as though he was forcing something down "i am sorry...i misunderstood your insults....I...."
He opened his eyes again and quickly walked toward his sword, moving past her "forget you saw me...forget everything about me....if anyone asks about me, tell them you know nothing. If they offer money...don't take it, they'll just take your life if they suspect you know something about me"

Breena blinked slowly as soon as the grip upon her throat was released. She glanced to the side as he spoke, fighting hard against her facial expressions. She conquered the battle against exposing her thoughts, or feelings at hand. Though she felt pity for the man, she also thought him a mad man. She pittied him for being so lost, and so paranoid as to target *her*. She fought to keep a chuckle surpressed.
" Forgetting you is highly unlikely.. You are a queer man... and that memory won't fade for years to come.." Breena laughed softly, running her gloved hand along the smooth skin at her throat. " As for exposing you, I don't know who or what you are, and you know nothing of me. I suspect it's better than way for the both of us..." She grew rigid as once again the man stabbed her with another insult. Whether it was knowingly or unknowingly it didn't matter, the man was treading on thin ice, and there was only so much Breena could take.
Breena didn't need the coin, she could easily turn it down, though she was a thief she accepted no material bribing. Even more than that, if they threatened to take her life, she would put up a fight, but she didn't fear death in fact, she almost welcomed it at times.. This being one of them.
" We'll be on our way then. Fear not, your secret is safe with us.. I'm not a threat, as I've stated *multiple* times " She muttered, annoyance clear and sharp in her tone. " I'm not as daft as you may think..." With that said she stormed off through the shadows, her horse in tow. She didn't care if he had any reply, her patience had been tried enough for one night.

The man grasped his sword with a single and ripped it from the tree it was embedded in, taking a large chunk of it's basing, he started to walk toward the shadows, the tree falling behind him. He stopped for a moment, eying the direction the woman went in, the image of her naked in his head.
It had been a long time since he was with a woman. That he can remember, this train of thought brought a flash of frustration. His memory all gone, he could only remember several years past. The beginning of these memories starting of horrid and disturbing.
He sheathed his sword and walked into the shadow, disappearing, but reappearing several paces behind the woman, following her. He knew nothing of the land he was in, the kingdom she mentioned, he knew nothing about.
From shadow to shadow he moved, stalking her, gathering what information of the group, and of the land that he could.

Breena gathered Tor's reins in her hand, her eyes darting toward her brothers, who were still in shock. The woman let her shoulders slump forward, as she could only assume the tongue lashing she would receive from her brothers. The words they would say echoed in her mind, and as she stood upright she prepared to defend herself.
" Well, have ye lost yer touch Breezy? " Fallon began, chuckling as he slapped his hand down on her shoulder roughly. " Ye didn't even play with him.. gettin' soft in ye old age, are ye? " He roared with laughter, nearly doubling over. His humor returned as soon as he realized there was no immediate danger for his sister, and the brothers. She was safe, and so the beatings commenced.
" Fallon, if you know what's best for you... Shut your mouth while you still can. " Breena spoke calmly, a smile touching upon her pale face. She was unsure how much longer she could contain her fury, between the strange man, and her brothers.. She knew she was going to snap... Oh, if they just shut up, it would pass!
Finn chuckled like the imbocile he truly was, and he nudged Fallon in the side. " I thought she was going to let him have his way! " Finn snickered, as Liam punched him in the back.
" Oh knock it off! Maybe she just fancies him..." Liam said quietly, trying to behave...
Breena swallowed, her eyes sliding shut as she stopped abruptly. She flung the reins over Tor's head, and before her brothers knew it she had unsheathed her sword, with the tip of Feidhelm to Fallon's throat. A maddened smile tugged at the corners of her lips, her grip upon the sword's hilt tightened, and she felt the warmth of his unstability course through her veins. She closed her eyes, trying to fight the urge, the need, the desire to free Feidhelm's will.
" Foolish...foolish men..." Breena forced her words out through her teeth, her wild hair fell into her face, plastering itself against her lips, and nose. Deep blue eyes gazed wildly at the three before her. She smiled coldly and slammed her foot into Fallon's stomach, putting as much force as she could behind the blow. Before the shock could fade from Finn's eyes, she turned and leaped toward him, her hilt crashing down upon the back of his neck.
Fallon stumbled backward, clutching at his stomach, he gasped for breath he could not catch, his eyes widened with fury. Finn yelled out in pain, grabbing a hold of his neck, and falling upon the ground. He curled up, writhing as the pain coursed through him. All the while, Liam just watched...
Breena growled, glaring at Liam. He was innocent enough, and so she picked up a rock and chucked it at him. " Enough!.. No more from any of you.. or I won't play nice next time! " She sheathed her blade, then hopped upon her horse. " I'll see you in town, *later* " She dug her heels into Tor's sides, he sprinted off into the distance, kicking up earth beneath his pounding hooves. Breena laughed as she left them in the dust, and then her face lost all it's humor, her cloak's hood went up, masking her features.

The man continued to follow the woman, assuming by her reaction and her companions she was the leader of the group. That he would learn most about of this from her, rather than the beaten men.
He moved from shadow to shadow, only once miscalculating a distance of a branch, causing a rustling of the leaves. He cursed at himself in his head for being so clumsy. Even despite the fact that he was exhausted.
He paused at the base of a single tree, staying deep within the shadows. He eyed her intently, seeing if she showed any signs of recognizing his movements.

Breena heard the the leaves rustling against one another, her eyes darting to the surrounding trees, there was no wind. Thinking it odd, she brought Tor to a halt, only pausing for a moment to glance quickly around, the brothers were far behind now, and so there wasn't a possibility of it being them. With a shrug she passed it off as a squirrel or a bird, and once again she and her horse were flying into the nearby Kingdom.
It didn't take long for the pair to arrive within the city limits, she groaned as she slumped over her horses neck, hugging him gently. The very thought of her being here make her queazy, and goosebumps raised her skin. Breena could see the Castle Godendar from the knoll she rested upon, it was eerie and beautiful all at once. It's structure looked as if it were made of live vines, and it twisted toward the sky, as if stretching toward the sun, or moon. The gate was large enough for her to see, it was contorted from what she saw, with vines and it had the same eerie, but beautiful, rustic look to it.
A shudder ran through the woman as she guided her horse down the knoll, and further into the city.
When she arrived in the village, she was surprised to find no check points, no guards keeping curfew (even though it was growing closer to dawn by the minute..), and the streets weren't completely desolate. People still bustled around, though the shops were closed the local tavern was still serving, Bree chuckled and decided to ease her nerves, as well as frustration with a few drinks..

The man stopped in the edge of the forested area, trying not to give away his position. He waited till he believe she was too far to see him. He followed what tracks he left behind toward a town.
He hesitated, another town, another possible tragedy. But he pressed on, he had to know where he was, and who knew, this one may have what he's been looking.
He entered the town, he spotted the woman and darted behind a corner of a building, he watched her enter a tavern. He stalked outside, the tavern, peaking through the windows. Watching the patrons and the woman.
He debated entering, but decided against it, he had not the money for a disguise, and the patrons proved too few to hide amongst. He decided best to stand out the window and watch for now.

When Breena had secured Tor to a hitching post, she wandered into the tavern. To her surprise it was fairly full, there were still those who were drinking, and eating. She wondered idly to herself if the tavern was ever closed, and if it ever stopped serving drinks.. Judging by the looks of the folks inside, and the sun rising.. she assumed not.
With a soft chuckle she stepped further into the building, and found her way to a corner booth. Breena made it to point to stay concealed by her cloak's hood, and only spoke when it was necessary. She ordered a breakfast plate, and devoured it rather quickly. It had been a while since she had a decent meal, that didn't consist of wild foul or rabbit. She had to be careful to pace herself, lest she made herself sick. When she was finished she then downed a tankard of brew. Sating her hunger, as well as thirst she relaxed into the wooden chair, her eyes partially sliding shut.. waiting for the brothers.

The man watched the woman eat her food, his own stomach growling. How long had it been since he had eaten? He didn't know the answer to the question, it felt like a second since he was in the last place he was in. Last thing he remembered was standing before a horde of guards and knights, all looking at him with as though he was a creature from the nether, ready to kill him. Then blackness, and he woke up before this woman, naked.
Considering where he was and where he ended up, it could've been worse he mused to himself. But still, he was rather hungry, but had no money. Nothing to barter with either.
But then he saw a man leave the tavern, leaving a money pouch on the table. The man eyed it fiercely. He looked around to see if anyone had noticed it. He decided to chance it, and blinked once, and his eyes black again. He had to work quickly, the rising sun would change the angles of shadows, for now they were in his favor. A point, a sliver of a shadow began to slowly creep from the shadow of the wall, by the window the man was standing outside of. It moved slowly, toward the money pouch, until it seemed to slide under it. Then slowly it moved back pull the pouch with it.
Slowly this happened, the man stopping everyone few seconds to see if any of the staff or patrons noticed. As it reach the edge of the table, it hugged the side of the table with the shadow, moving with it, it made a light jingle and thud as it hit the floor. The man let a sigh, he did not see anyone who noticed. But he was not paying too much attention he was hungry, and the money was a means to end that hunger. Slowly and surely he slowly pulled the money to him.

Breena felt herself beginning to doze, her mind fought to keep itself conscious, but her eyes already saw the images of dreamland. Though she was asleep, she could still hear those around her, still process sounds, and when she heard the thud of the pouch she jerked herself awake. No one else seemed to notice, but Breena did. She zeroed in on the pouch of gold on the ground, and watched as it slid across the floor. The woman chuckled and stood to her feet, following the object, and just as it was about to leave the tavern she stepped on it. Finding entertainment in this she bent over and picked it up, her eyes darting from face to face... wondering who was responsible for this trickery.

The man watched as the woman picked up the pouch of gold. He begin to growl, then stopping suddenly catching himself. But that did not stop his stomach from growling. He quickly eyed around for another opportunity, but found none.
This woman again, proving frustrating. He was hungry and she was standing between him and food.
"to hell with taking the subtle approach." He quickly walked to the door of the tavern, grabbing wayward tarp from the ground. Wrapping around his body, to hide his armored arm. He walked in, eying woman as he did. He slowly stalked over to her, and whispered "that's my money"

Breena had to stop herself from giggling as she looked upon the man wrapped in a tarp, it took her only a moment to recognize who it was, and then most of the humor washed away from her face. With narrowed eyes the woman began to speak. " I don't believe it is yours..." Her full lips formed a thin line, her eyes growing cold. " Did you......follow me here? " She hissed, and though her eyes were held with coldness, humor etched around them. He followed her here? She couldn't have looked all that awful to him naked then. She missed a few bouts of laughter, but managed to disguise it as scoffing.
She chucked the coin pouch to the ground, then turned away from him. " I have no need of it. " Annoyed and frustrated with this man, yet again... she began to walk away.

The man knelt down and picked up the gold, to hungry to be proud not to pick it up. "Crazy bitch" he muttered to himself, not even trying to hide it from her, let alone the room.
He stood back up and watched her walk away, something about the tone of her walk annoyed him greatly. But something about that fact she could instill such annoyance with a walk intrigued him as well. But at this moment, the annoyance was ruling.
He walked toward the tavern bar, and sat down. He ordered whatever stew they had, some bread. He was about to order some ale, but given his state, decided against it and ordered a large pitcher of water.
The barman dropped the food in front of him. The man looked down at it, hardly that appetizing. The barman asked for payment, he looked at the money pouch. Unable to make heads or tales of what coin was what value. He handed the barman a bunch of coins, the man looked at him an annoyed look, still holding out his hands. He put more money, until the barman walked away. muttering to himself.
