Breena's breath did not come easily to her, she could feel her chest tighten in anxiety. She couldn't seem to stop panting. She forced her mind on a different matter, perhaps not thinking about it would help. Cerulean eyes glanced to the side, her brothers' staring at her, incredulously. She heard Finn scoff, his head shaking to and fro as he watched the familiar man appear before them. All of the brothers ached to take a jab at Breena's new pet, but they knew at once that this was not the moment, no..
The woman jerked her hand to the side, she flicked her fingers toward the Donovan's, and they taking the hint, fell back. They trotted a small distance away, far enough to give them privacy, but close enough should anything happen.... Breena held her posture, she gazed into his eyes and felt his agony sting her very soul; her lip twitched in response, but the rest of her form remained untouched, or so it seemed.
" You are not safe.. " Bree gathered her reins into her balled up fists, her teeth clenching. " You wanted safety... You are not going to find that anywhere near me.."

Kelador looked at her, she didn't get it, he was surprised by this, how could she not understand after that night? His horse began to stir, seemingly waking out of the frighten stupor it had gone into after Kelador had yelled. He growled at the horse, the beast stopped, and stood perfectly still breathing.
"I...I wanted peace...not safety...safety will not come to me....not yet. With you...I was peaceful...for the first time I can remember I was peaceful, happy, content. You...YOU! You wanted safety, and I thought I gave you that. I could feel you wanted to be covered, held, protected....but then you casted me aside. If I didn't know any better I would think you used me. But that night told me too much about you...so I ask again...why!?"

Breena felt her heart grow heavy in her chest, with each thump it made she felt a wave of numbness spread through her limbs. It wasn't that she didn't understand, it was that she refused, denied herself that. Why was she so deserving of pleasure? Of happiness, it would be ripped away from her, better to stay away from anything that ever felt .... right.
" Don't be daft... you knew me for a night... I was weak.. " Breena grimaced as the words left her lips. It was a jab to herself, and to him she knew. She was weak, she did need someone to hold her, and to chase away her terror. The woman cast her eyes downward, blinking several times. She felt the pull of another being, one she knew all too well. Low hissing echoed in her mind, then the hisses turned into maniacal laughter. " I did not use you!" Bree hissed, her lip curling back in a snarl. With narrowed eyes she glared at Kelador, her wild hair clinging to her pale face. The numbness encompassed her entire form, and as she looked to her hands she noticed she was trembling. Of course you used him... it's what you do.. use them.. Use everything... Use me.... The voice hissed in her mind, chuckling darkly as he sent pulses throughout her body.
" This is NOT the time...!" Breena choked out, yelling to Kelador and her sentient blade, Feidhelm.

Kelador narrowed his eyes, partly out of puzzlement and partly out of annoyance "I didn't accuse you of using me..." he signaled his horse to move closer to Bree, till he body was beside hers "You needed me and I needed you, and you need me know, look at your hands! Those men terrified you! But they were under your rule...why?! Why run from them? Why did I sense essence of light around you twice? Why does it scare you? Why do you run from me? You were weak that night yes, but I was there to pick you up and you loved that I did, not out of some sick pleasure, or desire, but because you wanted it, needed it and you were glad it was me, because you are like me and for the first time you let someone in. So don't shut me out now...."
He straighted himself "If you push me away now...do not expect my return, do not expect to find me, do not expect me to ever be as I was last night. Expect from me what you expect from the shadow, cold and darkness..." he looked away from her "i...." he didn't know what to say any more....he said what he had to say, all that he could. It was up to her, and he dreaded the decision she would make. But it was hers to make none the less. He was so close, he could smell her hair. Practically feel her soft pale skin. Oh how he desired nothing more then to throw her to the ground and repeat the previous nights passion here in the woods. He did not care where the even took place, he needed her, he needed her like nothing he ever felt before.

Sadness overtook the look in her eyes, but she turned her head away from Kelador before he could catch a glimpse. She kept her poise considerably strong for how weakened she felt, for how dreadful her core felt. She had a decision to make, and she knew it most likely would be the wrong one. Breena vaguely heard his questions, or were they demands? Fly out of his mouth, she thought of how, or what she would answer. Why should she answer? Why did she owe him an explanation. " This is my homeland..." She spoke softly at first, her voice gaining strength as she turned to look at him again. The hardness return to her cold blue eyes. " I am the First Born to King and Queen Callaghan..." Bree took a moment for bile began to raise in her throat. The very thought of this place sickened her, mentally and physically. " Somehow those men knew... " She scoffed, and dropped her head back to look at the sky, her long hair cascading down her back and touching her horses flesh. " I suppose they knew because I am the spitting image of my Father... but they knew more..." Breena clenched her teeth as she snapped her head forward. " I don't KNOW where the light came from! " Breena growled as she recalled the lull of the soft voice, how it comforted her, and how it terrified her within the same instance.
Breena recalled the familiarity she had with this man, it puzzled her, why she felt as if she had known him for years, and shared more than she really had... Flashes of images raced through her mind, things that had not yet happened, she caught sight of that woman again, her name on the tip of her tongue. What was her name? And why did she have her face? " Forgive me Kelador..." At last she let her eyes settle upon him, and her eyes bore into his. She exposed her raw emotion, for what she felt would be the last time, for a long time. How she wanted to reach across the way and touch him, but she feared he would reject her touch. Why now? She had too much right now, too much that she could barely cope with, she could not afford a distraction...however lovely it was...
She inhaled a jagged breath, her form still trembling, however not from fear. She placed her hand to her side, willing her sobs away, she did not want to cry, not now, not in front of Kelador, not in front of her brothers. She grimaced instead, her eyes full of pain, full off sadness. " Please forgive me.. I..I can't..... " She swallowed hard, her eyes lowering ever so slowly, drew in his body for what she knew was probably the last time she would ever see him. She felt her soul wanting, pulling her toward him, it felt wrong to deny herself what felt so..right, but it was wrong now. It was wrong, it couldn't be. Not now...

Kelador did not look at her, he couldn't bring himself too. His face looked crestfallen. How could she turn him away?
His face at once showed his rage, he turned his horse toward the town, his business here was done. He kicked the sides of the horse, yelling out for the horse to gallop forward away from here "HA!" he cried, signaling the horse. Kelador was soon off in the distance, away from her, he would steal himself from her, no longer daring to open himself to her, or anyone else. He withdrew deeper into himself. Farther then he knew he could.
Half to the town, out of site, he dismounted from the horse, he smacked it's end to send it on it's way back to the owner, the horse left in hurried fright from it's rider. Kelador then walked to a large shadow of a tree, sitting in it. He heard a dark, deep voiced cackle. "keep laughing you bastard....at least someone was able to put you in your place". Kelador began to sink into the shadow he would not let any of them find him. He needed to think, get his bearings and figure out his next move.

Tor let out a warrior's cry as he danced upon his hind legs, his front legs striking out before him, and then he landed. His haunches launching him forward into a gallop, his riding urging him forward with her strong legs. " Remind me to never return..." She said coldly as she glanced over at Fallon, who had rather quickly caught up with Tor. You will... Fallon mouthed the words into the wind, his knowing eyes crinkling in the corners. There was only a matter of time before Breena would return...before she felt the absolute need to.
" Where are we going now? " Finn moaned, his brown eyes rolling as he strode up to Breena. " Back to Alyanys.. Leila needs me. I can feel it.." She gripped her reins a bit too firmly, Tor thrashed his head around, protesting. She gave him a swift kick to his ribs and released her tormenting grip. " Damn you and your maternal instinct.. Woman.." Finn griped again, he should have feared her wrath, but he didn't. He never did, and more often than not it wound up with him receiving some form of ass kicking.
Breena simply growled at her brother, she ignored the want of bashing his skull in with her sword, and drove herself forward. She needed to return to Leila, she had to know that all was well, and if she banished her from the kingdom again.. She promised herself that it would be the last Leila would ever see her.

Kelador hopped from tree to tree, thinking about what had transpired between him and Bree. He sensed light magic in the wind. Was it possibly his pursuers? He had to know. He followed the trail, leading toward a destination he knew nothing about. But he always found himself in that kind of position. If it was who he thought it was, he would get the jump on them, and if not that, at least some information to plan his next move. But what did this light magic have to do with Breena? He put that thought out of his head, she was no longer his concern. She was not his to protect, he could not emotionally afford her any more, he had too little to give now. Steeling himself again from thoughts, he concentrated on his possible actions. Only few were peaceful, the rest....if they were there was enemies ahead, they would soon find out the rest of his thoughts.

Hours into the ride the brothers began to complain, begging and pleading with Breena to take pause. She grumbled and finally gave in once they were in the vast country side.
" Thank the gods.." Finn dismounted, nearly collapsing to the ground, panting. " Ye damn near killing us and our mounts..." He eyed his mount, which was completely lathered in sweat, his form trembling from exhaustion.
Breena looked at her mount, she noticed his neck was beginning to show signs of sweat, and betwixt his legs as well, but he barely puffed his breath. She quirked a brow as she dismounted, her light form landing soundlessly upon the ground. " I can't help if you fools chose lame ducks.." She chuckled and grabbed a fistful of reins, walking her horse around to cool him out.
Fallon eyed his sister as he tied his horse to a nearby tree. He casually walked over to her, his massive form towering over her. " Breena..." He took the familiar..coaxing tone he always had when consoling her. He chuckled when he got the response he knew he would receive... A sour, cold glare... " Don't hurt yerself... I won't speak anymore on the matter, ye know what I'm talkin' about... Don't go hurtin' yerself... " He closed his grey eyes and walked away from her.
Bree's jaw clenched as he uttered his last words, she balled her hands into tight fists, her mouth tightened so much that her full lips disappeared against her pearly white teeth. The last thing she wanted to think about, feel guiltly, feel anything about was Kelador.. She did not want to part on such a sour note, but she had much to do, and could not afford a distraction.. No.. She comforted herself with that thought, and he would be far better off without her company... A smile forced itself upon her face, a very bitter, and cold smile.

Kelador leaped from the last tree, he was infront of the city he had left earlier. He would have to wait till dark to enter. He did not want anyone to see him enter, he caused too much of a commotion earlier to enter in during the day. He sat under some shade and resting his eyes, he would rest now, in case he would not find any later at night.
Again he tossed and turned once more, the creature within him displaying nightmares to him once again, unabated by Breena's presence this time. Sleep to him was close to torture, every time he slept, he had nightmares, and he never ever got used to them. But his body had to rest, whether he liked it or not.

Grudgingly Breena settled down under a nearby tree, shading her from the afternoon's sun. She didn't want to break, but knew her brothers were still exhausted. The fools spent most of the night recuperating from their long trek by drinking, they deserved to be awoken so abruptly... She scoffed, folding her arms as she leaned against the tree. Slowly, but surely her eyes fluttered shut, and the rhythm of the trees rustling in the breeze began to lull her to sleep. Soon a whispering voice caught her attention, it hummed a lovely tune and drew her further into the sleep.
Embeth sat in her study, smiling to herself as she hummed softly. She stroked her long hair, braiding it as she pulled Breena's mind closer to her own. She whispered words of the past to Bree, showing her visions of the past, of who she was, and where she came from. How she desperately wanted, needed her sister to be here with her. A tragic event was to take place soon... she knew this. She wished that she felt some remorse, but none was there... she knew Breena would be affected...

Keladr snuck into the city at dark. Keeping the shadows where he could and leaped from roof top to roof top as another means of avoiding suspicion. He eventually arrived at the castle gates, where the source of light magic had drawn him. He placed a hand toward the castle walls, impressive magical barriers he could sense. But nothing he couldn't get around.
Using the shadows once more he sunk into one and appeared on the other side, staying within the shadows to avoid any guard seeing him.
Approaching the castle itself, he looked around, one guard up top. Asleep at his post, easy prey. Kelador scaled the wall like some beast, quick and agile, using his hand to propel himself up at the last bit and swinging his body to kick the guard into unconsciousness. He didn't need to kill the guard, these people were not his enemies yet. He hid the body, the poor soul would have a rather nasty headache in the morning.
Kelador scaled from wall to wall, knocking out opposition where he could till he was inside. He avoided using his magic within the castle, the wards stronger hear. Anything he would do now, would set off the alarms.
Eventually with careful and patient movement he made it inside. He quickly moved down a hall way. He was surprised there were no guards, very surprised. He drew his sword, he would not be caught off guard.
He opened the door, to a generous sized room. There on a chair in front of the window sat a woman, her profile to him. He looked for a second confused. "Breena?" he thought to himself. No...not her, she was too young, she looked almost identical to her, but too young. The source of the light essence was strong here, it was coming from this woman "...Who are you?" Kelador thought for a moment "and why did you draw me here?"

Breena drifted into the coma like state, images flittering across her mind. At times she wished she could weep, but happiness soon replaced the sad memories that she saw. Familiar faces danced across her eyes, faces she had not seen since long ago. She stirred, nearly waking herself as she recognized them as her Mother and Father.. Suddenly, the images faded and Breena awoke... For a moment she thought she could see Kelador standing in front of her, puzzlement splayed across his face, and his muscles tensed, ready to spring. She shook her head, her eyes glancing upward to the sky, drinking in the harsh sun. Idly she wondered how long she had been asleep, the shadows told her mayhaps an hour.
Embeth dropped her fragile hands into her lap, and folded them. She almost cringed as Kelador entered the study, she knew he was coming, but she hadn't a clue as to when. " Welcome, Kelador.. " Embeth stood slowly, her tall elegant form very much akin to her sister's, however she was a great deal thinner, fragile looking. Power emenated from her, but her body had never seen a day's hard work. Blue eyes just as Breena, but they were a much paler hue, and her hair a paler hue than Breena's as well. " I've been expecting you.. My name is Embeth.." She bowed her head as she curtsied, her voice a mimic of Breena's, had the woman a gentle bone in her body, perhaps she would have a similar voice to Embeth.
" My sister Breena has actually drawn you here..." She smiled softly, careful as not to offend or provoke this man. She had no doubt that he could, and would slaughter her here, especially without Breena's presence.

Kelador looked at her oddly, he sheathed his sword and closed the door behind him. "explain...the power i sense is coming from you...not...HER". He emphasized the word.
The last thing Kelador needed was a Breena look alike right now, he tried hard to control his emotions, but unlike Breena, the creature within stirred around this girl, probably because he was in close proximity to an aspect of life that was it's opposite. But Kelador made sure the creature would not affect him at this time. He knew, this place was a place of important information for him, violence was the last thing he needed to do.

Embeth stood upright, her hands remaining clasped before her abdomen. She swallowed slowly, her eyes fixated upon Kelador. She would not admit it, but she grew a tad uneasy around him, even her visions had made her stir with discomfort. " Breena has magic of her own.. She lured you in, did she not? " She smiled softly, kindness radiating from her eyes as she began to explain. " I was born with magic. My Mother is a great Occulist. I inherited her gift, and much more than that. I bear the rare gift of what is called... Grey magic.. My Mother has pure magic, all of her being is light.. She inherited that from the Elves.. My Father on the other hand, he is human. He has little talent in the art of magic... but he has dark principals.. Together they created a rare, but desirable Grey magic. I can use both just as skillfully as the other. Breena has failed to aquire much of my Mother's talents.. She takes after our Father.. though don't let her fool you... she has many other...abilities.." She grinned, her face curling into the familiar mask of Breena.

Keladar thought about that for a moment, he entered her room thinking he was sensing his pursuers...didn't he?
"that's all fine and good...but I am here now...why? and as far as i know she didn't draw me any where, I came to her for...for another reason, my own reason, my own decision. As I came here...why did you let me sense you?"

Embeth grew a little more tense, though the only display of her tension was at the corner of her eyes, and her mouth. She sighed heavily, and feeling a more at ease with Kelador being present, she turned away from him. " Breena did. She pushed you away - for both of your own good. In doing that, she drew you in. I knew you two would meet long before you ever did.. I have the gift of The Kenning. I see the past, present and the future. " She wrinkled her nose up in a fashion her older sister had done, several times. " It's hard for me to read Breena... she has so many forks. She never truly makes up her mind, she just..goes. Without direction, without thought. I can only see her many roads, or her forks. "
Embeth paused a moment, swirling her tongue against the back of her lips. How could she explain this to him without provoking his anger? Patience being one of Embeth's best virtues..she continued. " Kelador, Breena and I both lured you here. You are here because of her, because of me. I wanted you to find me, so I could explain this entire situation. " She bit her bottom lip and paced a few steps, back and forth. She laughed as she contemplated his last question. " I wanted you to find me, so why would I mask my magic? I am no fool... as if I thought I could hide the presence of this palace entirely? The entire Kingdom is magic, Kelador! Especially around this time of season.." Embeth smiled broadly, excitement dancing in her eyes. " Even the mere farmers are blessed with magic around this time! "

"That's the question I'm asking, why did you bring me here? As for your people, I do not care what magic they posses. If you know about me, you know the source of my power, so you know, it doesn't play nice with the light. So I ask again, no more playing with words, no more beating around the bush. Why am I here, and what does this have to do with Breena?"
Kelador folded his arms and looked around the room, taking in his surroundings. He was getting impatient due to this woman's delays, and the fact that he knocked out a few guards, and the patrols will eventually find them, didn't ease the impatient feeling he was getting.

Embeth sucked on her bottom lip, wondering if she exposed what she knew would alter the future any, if at all. " I will answer your questions in time. You came to find out about Breena, myself, and this place. Did Breena seem as if she knew you? The second time you met, did she act as if she had known you for most of her years? " Embeth sighed, sensing the man's patience was wearing thin, she began to explain further. " Breena will be in trouble soon enough, it always finds her. I knew you would come.. I knew you would protect her. I needed you here, so I could explain things to you.."
The woman laughed softly, pacing a few more steps. " The men won't mind, no one will be searching for you... They knew. "

Kelador leaned back against the door, keeping an ear to the hallway, just in case. He didn't entirely trust this woman. "It's not my concern if she's in trouble or not. She wanted me gone, and she wanted me out of the picture so I am. Do I care if she acted like she knew me? No...not any more. So let her get into her trouble, i will not be the one to save her. I told her this already, and since you seem to know everything, you should know this as well.
