Like the freezing wind of snow and death your words tear holes in my mind In pathetic belief and naive desperation I go back to find the same words again I turn and twist them endlessly in pain In vain I try to read them differently
Nothing changes Nothing heals The wounds you cut in me The tears you make me cry
I need to think you say you love me because it is true But like a shadow I pass through you life unseen unheard I want tell the world, share with my friends The desire for you I feel, the love we have
- You know no one can know - You know no one can know - You know no one can know - You know no one can know
I close my eyes not to cry those heavy tears again I turn away not to feel the overwhelming grief I smile not to show how much it really hurts I hide my scars not to let anyone see or know
But in silence and darkness it all comes back to me Alone on my bed I cannot stop from bleeding There is only question in my breaking heart, worried mind... Why do I keep coming back?

I've never had a 'her'. I've just watched friends submit to peer-pressure and act in some role-play of 'love' that's utterly pathetic to watch. Then when they realize that teen love is fake, unlike real love which is as complex as a rental-car company’s fine print documents, they get all depressed and come to me for help. I then tell them how wrong they were thinking a relationship could last before the age of 18. Only the lucky actually get serious before true adulthood.
I have to be bluntly honest. Halfass isn't my thing.

I believe you can find love at any age.. what matters is if you are willing to fight for it or not.. *shrugs* but what do I know?

Can't fight for it if you don't know what it truly is. The average life of teen relation-expectancy ranges from one month to two. That's a waste of time and money if you ask me. I've already assumed I know nothing about it, and am currently waiting for adulthood. Then I won't just think i'm old enough to go out and get drunk or get laid, but i'll know it.

Being an adult has nothing to do with age. =)
Love is. It's either there, or it's not. You can be in love with a one night stand, and never see the person again. People are compatable in many different ways, on many different levels.
