Sorry for the spastic character generation I’ve just had this one in my head for a while and I thought this would be the place to store it.
Nurglot Chumbircle is his name and construction in his game. Nurglot is a half-goblin-half-gnome of thirty three years of age. The majority of his life has been lived out in the suburbs of Eurothra constructing foundations for homes and the like. The first fourteen years he spent in this world he was a serf working day and night for a rich Duke named Spernt Blekker, and naturally he governed over a small village. This village was not visited often, the whole population consisted of misfits who wouldn’t be bought by the slave markets. So instead they were put in this small town, its name was marked only on one sign in the whole village but Nurglot couldn’t read at the time so its name he doesn’t know. The ‘chores’ they were assigned to were usually more like punishments and the living conditions were bad, the people were slowly being picked off. But after the Nurglot turned fourteen the first of the slave laws were passed and enforced. So Nurglot and the others from that village were released into Eurothra and Spernt was removed from power. Nurglot basically became a beggar with no talents he couldn’t get a job, so he had no chouse but to sit and beg for money. His first year went rather well he learned the city streets well and he also got a small job carrying lumber from one side of town the other. It was a pretty easy job only the heat bothered him and he managed to get on the bosses good side every once in a while. Also he was presented with a great opportunity, every now and then he would take some of the planks he was supposed to turn in at the other side of town and hide it in a alley, coming back to get it once he was off of work. He built all sorts of thing with the wood, mostly just pointless little shapes pieces of wood but some of them managed to find a purpose. at the end of his first year he was removed from the city on the account that in almost eleven months he has not paid any tax. But he would not stop there. With a stolen piece of canvas, some old soggy boards, and some nails he had made a fine temporary home for himself. Some of the people noticed his little shack and his tale quickly spread across the towns. ‘The little man with a little house’, it was quite a tale indeed and some of the local contractors recognized his talents. The inventiveness of a gnome, with the crafty mind and strength of a goblin, a perfect combination. His best offer was from a man named Gerben, he said that he would feed and bed Nurglot as long as he worked, and here nineteen years later he still works for Gerben, hammering away at some piece of wood in some distant field. But now that Nurglot has enough money to survive in the outside, he has started on the first of his adventures, hoping to find something new to spend the rest of his life on. Though he cannot fight, he has more agility that you would expect, he can toss himself around very well. And I’m sure his favorite hammer could fracture some vital bones as well.
