Grougrut is a skeletal warrior of the legion of abhorrence, a cult occupying the lower sewers of Godendar. He is a simple follower of a greedy necromantic sorcerer named Hermict, who collects the dead to vivificate as his agents. Most of the ones that are bought out of death are sent off to complete simple tasks and burdens. Most of these tasks are simple, but Hermict it far too lazy or busy to complete them himself. Grougrut and all of the others like him are just worthless pawns, totally expendable and replaceable by the many necromancers of the legion. The undead are usually sent on dangerous missions involving death or dismemberment that they’d rather not risk their men on. Grougrut can walk, talk, and move in anyway he wishes as long as it dose not defy the orders given to him by his master before each of his quests. The undead of the legion are granted the ability to speak through an extremely complex nexus. This nexus acts as a brain after death consisting of only invisible thought. His voice is usually only a low crackling or exhaling sound that forms words and sentences.
Height: 5.10
Age: 114
Race: A mixture of different pieces of corpses, mostly human
Weight: 113 (with armor)
Alignment: evil
Sex: mostly male
Weapon: A single short handed battle axe, and of course his mouth
Equipment: His armor, (helmet, plate body, plate skirt, chain mail leggings, under cloak) his cape, (made from rat leather and crow feathers, it’s powerful in an unknown way) and some gold tokens for bribers and bartering
Outlook: All living creatures are meant to die killing them early is only an increase in the speed of this but it's unnatural, so mindless killing and chaos are not his style.
Weapon info: His axe is a specially crafted legion axe with some interesting properties. First of all the weapons blade was crafted from a very unforgiving metal named Biklle. Biklle is rather rare in the south and is typically a light metal but in the right hands, runes can be added to twist its alignment. Biklle has a white glow that it emits when revealed in the golden moons light, but this is also changed by runes. Only the red light of Olath Drathil can make it glow after the dark crafters are finished with it. Secondly the blade also creates a horrid screech when it is swung fast enough, and when used in light of Olath Drathil it also generates a low ominous humming sound. Thirdly and lastly when the metal of the blade contacts skin or flesh it will burn it intensely, singeing through flesh and bone alike, this is why only skeletons dare wield it. But metal armors are not efected by the burning.
I think some times my piture dosen't even show up so go here to view it. Plus I wanted to give the real artist some credit, he's great! www.epilogue.net/cgi/database/art/view.pl?id=80551
