Alas, The tale of this creature hasn't gone down in history for the Terrible deeds he and his tribe have commited, nor for the valliant deeds of his people. Yet.
Erebus Fenaue of the "En-Ru" pride is a hunter gatherer with exeption skills in his field, He spends most of his time alone hunting or watching herds moving through the forest, keeping track of everything so hunting is always as easy. The "En-Ru" pride is 99% female, only one male is born every generation, and only the males change colour with the seasons, the white fur that covers the body is shed and green fur takes its place as winter turns to spring through to summer, then the green is shed, giving way to reddish brown in autumn, then white again in winter, a continual cycle of colour.
He was born a twin, two males were born from the same father, a freak accident in his culture, and the pair were seperated, as legend has it that if two males are born, when they come of age they will battle with passionate force and destroy each other, rendering the females unable to breed and the pack will either die off or be seperated and join other prides The pride chose to keep the fastest learner and the best hunter. Erebus was the one, he was faster, smarter and had an unyeilding edge over his brother, who always lingered behind. One night Jakar, the brother of Erebus, attempted to assasinate his brother whist he slept, as they were identical even down to their scent he assumed he could destroy him and take his place as the heir to the pride.. Erebus cought wind of Jakars plot and hid in the darkest part of the cave, an arrow in his bow and the string pulled tight, patiently waiting for the shadow of his brother to flood into the cave. The moon rose full and there in the entrance of the cave was his brother, drool tumbling from his fanged mouth, splashing on the ground as it fell, and with a soft twang Erebus let loose an arrow, fear overwhelming him as he passed out.
The next morning he looked for his brothers body, and found nothing, but he found his arrow embedded in a tree behind him, without blood, The females and the elder male had found Jakar dead, and hidden the body, knowing what had happened, they faked the arrow in the tree and burried the recessive cub.Erebus never knew what happened that night, but he assumed his brother was alive.
He grew and trained his body and mind to be strong enough for the day when he would again find his brother and they would battle as men,
