Hey everyone. Elissa finally twisted my arm into come here, just wanted to let everyone know that at this time, the RP her and I are doing is just the two of us, but if you wish to join...Just say so! I don't mind and the more the merrier. All I ask is that you post in this thread as to what you wish to do, like if your bringing a new character in, provide a little background and how it would fit, or if you want to pick up one of the NPCs I use, just let me know. Thanks for reading and I look forward to RPing with all of you.

I will do everything I can to join, if that means taking an NPC or making a character. However, I will need to know a few things -- is there magic, what endangered Breena's life, etc.

Bwuaha... More minions. This RP started on Shim -- so the reason why it seems it started up in the middle of somewhere is because it was. To answer your question -- scavengers/thieves ambushed Rhea + Bree's encampment. She got wounded, it got infected... yadda yadda.

Is there much of a world in the sense of geography/history/science/government, or that open to a lot of flexibility?

Gah, and yes, there is magic involved. I forgot to answer that bit. It's very open to flexibility. You'll have to talk to Rhea about where his kingdom is and what surrounds it, but other than that, there isn't a real map of the world.

Nah its just when I ran with Durin's Storyline back then, LFF had just stopped RPing, the rp mods at the time (myself, TC, Wolf, EG, etc) set up a "war" over who would rule Ta'lorn...Durin ended up ruling that, so I just kept it going. Didn't really mention that when I came back and started RPing with Breena because I didn't think the people there could handle it lol.
Mainly here are the key things, Magic Plays a strong roll, however so does Swordplay.
What I said above would be about all the just of the world's Geography, other than that its pretty open. History has roughly been that most people haven't really been forced into any obvious wars, and most people know not of whats going on, but the world has been a staging ground for a War between Heaven and Hell.
Since we are not in Shim anymore and I don't have to suffer some people's idiocy, There is only rudimentary Science, but for the most part you can do anything as long as you can justify it being in a similar era to King Arthur.
Government is also left pretty open, There could be a king over the entire area, I have yet to work one in though, but the possibility is there. Durin/Rheavon's Castle would be the local Castle as the Lord over a rather large area. No decent maps exist though so borders are pretty transient, and reliant on who is standing there.
Anything else?

As long as this isn't Shim', I'll be applying extra features constantly (such as more geographic locations). Let me know if something doesn't work for you, but I'll do everything I can to keep a consistent theme.

its not precisely Shimlar itself, I wouldn't mind using the same locations as reference...mainly Ta'lorn.

Okay, so.. to make the layout of the courtyard a little more understood.. I used MS Paint to make a less than elementary map of it. :}
