Two men stood upon a pillar of stone that day.
They watched one another in the limited space.
The sky was dark with the clouds that entered the fray.
The horizon was pink and purple with the sun-set’s lace.
The left man was garbed in blue.
The right man stood in white.
The left spoke to the man in white, spewing:
"I will make my house here without spite".
The man in white looked to the heavens and spoke,
"The firmament wells with tears. Make the roof first".
It was at that time a man in grey awoke.
He wiped his eyes and smacked his lips in thirst.
The man on the left nodded his small head,
While the man on the right lifted the man in grey.
"Make a well second, for I am parched nigh dead!"
The drably clothed man at the north babbled in a dry say.
The man on the left nodded his small head,
While the man on the right, in white, noticed the clouds rumble.
"The heavens burst with anger now. Build us thirdly a bed".
It was at that time a man in green began to tumble.
At the south, the man in green stood with a pop in his hip,
While the man on the left nodded his small head.
"My bones are so very sore. Build me fourthly a support beam to lean upon"
Creaked the man in green, to whom his woe he was wed.
Having noted these four things, the man on the left commenced.
In his bright blue, he took the saw and the sledge.
"I will build quickly, for the storm brews swiftly"
Chattered the man to the left as he scurried along the ledge.
In moments or much less, the house was made.
But its function was useless and obscene.
"What is this monstrosity? What is this 'house' you have frayed?"
Protested the three men, one in white, one in grey, and one in green.
And still without spite, the man in blue spoke,
"This is the house you asked of me,
Do not give up such hope,
I gave up my dream in a home to help you three".
