Yeah, okay. You are going to laugh! This is a Poem inspired by Neopets. I have a Grundo on there named Mlezzir. The Grundo race was once a slave race, and then they were freed. This Poem is about Mlezzir's view on how I saved him, and the war of slavery. --------------------------------- In this bleak world of lies I crawled and screamed, a slave's demise. In this world so cold, my body began to shatter, A slave's despair, never really a matter. But deep within the shadows I prayed, And there you were, amidst the crusade; Strong and sturdy you stood prepared, My chains they clattered and horn's they blared! But you just stood there, battling away The infernal beasts, falling as you slay. And when all was said and all was done, The clouds rolled by and out came the sun.
But once again, there you stood, The face of an angel, under the hood. And as if they were made of dirty o’l clothes, You broke my chains, my burden you disposed.
Alas, I felt the warmth in touch, A sensation that could be all too much. You held me close, within your embrace, Your hood now fallen, from your radiant face. Oh, sweet Angel! You saved me from despair. The birds now sing and fly in the air.
Oh! Day of bliss, When happiness is what I no longer miss. The sun, oh, how shines upon the valley, Where life and it shall marry, Creating the life, which once was death. Amen to you, My life, My breath!
